MUNIZ AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Puerto Rico -- As we all know Muñiz Air national guard base have a well kept basketball court but now that's no longer true because now it looks even better, thanks to a great initiative and dedication of a small group of voluntaries. This small group organized themselves and took the "What ever it takes Make it happen' to go the extra mile.

It took them 3 days within their off time to perform their task even they went farther and asked their supervisors for some in-duty time. Their supervisor seen the initiatives didn't hesitate to disapproved their request. Coordination were from Base Civil Engineering who gave them all the equipment and material necessary for this task, this include paint, pressure washer, paint brushes etc, Metal Shop orientated them on rust prevention and they add some local fund collected from the same b-ball court users to buy a good quality nets. These great airmen, washed the entire b-ball court, painted all important areas like, "center court" and others. B-ball rim and backboard were give corrosion control and re-painted.
